The new Google bar has started rolling out to all Google Apps users, introducing a cleaner look and more screen space.

Google Apps users will see a change to the Google bar over the next few days. Changes include the user email address and image moving to the search bar and the welcome removal of the top cog that was originally used to access Settings. This all makes the top bar cleaner and there is now just one cog with Display Density; Settings; Themes; and more - which is a lot more user friendly.

Google has used this extra space to show more apps, both on the bar and under the "More" dropdown. It's also nice to see that when working in Google Docs and Sites the bar will disappear to free up a little more screen space.
