When you’re working in Chrome and all of a sudden you’re forced off the tab you're working on to dismiss the pop up reminder, can prove to be very disruptive for most.

So put a stop to intrusive Calendar Reminder pop ups and instead have small pop ups in the bottom right corner with this quick and simple tip.

In Calendar settings under Notifications make sure "Use browser notifications instead of interruptive alerts" is ticked. You will then get small pop ups in bottom right corner instead of a pop up in the middle of the screen that deactivates your current window.

Note: Chrome notifications must be enabled for this method to work, see the Google Help page: Turn notifications on or off
