Use the new Compare Documents feature to highlight the differences between two docs

In this example, we have a Business Process Manual from 2018 and we are using the Compare documents feature to compare it with the new Business Process Manual for 2019.

To try this, in your doc go to:

  1. Tools > Compare documents
  2. Select the file you want to compare your current document to
  3. In the Attribute differences to field, enter the name of the person who will be labelled as the author of the changes in the comparison file.
  4. Select Compare

This will create a comparison file with the differences highlighted as Suggested Edits
