Did you know you can use Google Meet with people who don’t have G Suite? Here are some tips below to help you…
- Setup your invite via Google Calendar, add your guests and make sure you ‘Add conferencing’.
- Add a description to your invite to help attendees understand how to join the call (because it’s web-based, all they need to do is click the link to join). We usually include the link again in the description for attendees who don’t use G Suite, to make it easy for them to find.
- Recommend attendees use Chrome (it might not work in other browsers!)
- There’s a mobile app for Meet as well, if your guests prefer to use their phone or tablet.

Note: You don’t have to go via the calendar to set up a video call. You can also go directly to the Google Meet app (meet.google.com).
