Google Workspace users can enable offline support for Google Calendar to make sure their agenda is available to view even without an internet connection. Once enabled, users can view any events scheduled at any time in the future, as well as four weeks prior.
To enable offline mode for Google Calendar follow these steps:
- Open Google Calendar in a desktop browser (e.g. Chrome) and go to Settings
- Under General settings, click on Offline
- Enable the “Turn on offline calendar” feature by clicking on it.
- Reload your calendar.
Please note that only your calendars (My calendars) will be saved offline. Any calendars showing in the Other calendars section will not be available for offline view.
You will now be able to view your events even when you’re not connected to the internet, although you won’t be able to create new events or edit the existing ones until you’re back online.
